Consultancy   List the broad areas of consultancy services provided by the Institution during the last five years (free of cost and/or remunerative). Who are the beneficiaries of such consultancy? Department of zoology has started consultancy services in research instrumentation. The faculty provides phase contrast microscope to the researchers and helps them to identify size, shape, biometry and identification of zooplanktons from the various water bodies. It has generated the revenue of Rs. 2400 in 2007-08 and Rs. 1200 in 2008-09. Researchers from various colleges have taken the benefit of this service. Department of Zoology provided consultancy services to farmers of these areas regarding vermin composting and roof water harvesting. Department of physics has started consultancy services in electronic circuit design and instrument maintenance facility, under this service the department has developed educational kits for bifocal courses. These kits are being used in the college and thus saved Rs. 12000 of the institute. The department has assembled “mini inverters’ for staff people in Umarkhed. This is the service which was provided on free of cost to get experience and to achieve perfect ness in the job. The department also repairs and maintains instruments available on campus. Department of Botany provide consultancy services about paste management to the farmers of a these areas. Department of Political Science provides consultancy about the management of a crops and its marketing. In this regard this department organized one day work shop for farmers on 17th Jan 2009, Dr. M.S. Koderkar, AIIB, Hyderabad, addressed during workshop on 09/09/2008, Shri. Rathod, agriculture officer, addressed during workshop.
