Mission Statement

I am privileged to be a part of this educational institute GSG College. It gives me a special feeling as it is serving the area and meeting the needs of the people where I was born. My father established a tradition in educating his own children and I am extending the same to the community and thus keeping the flame alive.

Through this college, I long to link my past and create future. I want to fulfill my mother's wish and father's dreams. My wife Sushila and myself adopted this college as our own third child. We realize this is a tremendous responsibility but we want to raise and nurture it as a gift of God.

In spite of economic, cultural, and technological handicaps this college has made tremendous strides to enter the 21st Century.

Our Mission is:

1. Make this college a "center of excellence" in education.
2. Our service motto is "Student is our customer and we are student advocate."
3. Develop and promote all around development of students in academics and extra curricular activities.
4. Promote continuous educational programs for teaching staff and also promote research and publication.
5. To become a model college and center of excellence our first objective is to meet standards established by national Association of accreditation of India and also meet the international standards. This is an ambitious goal. It is easier said than done and we realize it may be a moving target but we want to move in that direction. We also realize that it is a continuous process and never ending.
6. We also realize exchange of ideas is the key for rejuvenation so we will develop connections with quality educational colleges and universities in India and also internationally. At the same time we want our GSG College to be model for education for underdeveloped colleges and thus become mother institute for them.
7. Our sixth goal is to connect globally as we are part of global village through technology.
8. Our seventh goal is to make this college self-sustaining and self-sufficient.
9. Our eighth goal is to promote and emphasize extra curricular activities like sports, music and arts.
10. Our ninth goal is to make this college to be a "life long learning center" for the community.
11. Our tenth goal is to create ideal institute where students are stimulated to learn, professors to teach, do research and publish; thus everybody's interest is served. That is a utopian dream but then if we don't dream it won't happen.

Somebody said, "In the past I had asked God to right the wrong and comfort the suffering. Now I know that job is given to me." How true we are all responsible to do our part, you and I.
